Take a photo of a business card and our AI will identify contact fields like first name, last name, email, phone number, company name, and job title. Easily create and manage new contacts in your Tapt contacts, with options to view, edit, share, or save them to your phone.

- New and Improved Menu Tab
Learn how to add our new QR code widget to your home screen for effortless profile sharing without opening the app or even when you're offline. Enjoying our app? Please consider leaving a review. If you're unclear about any features, the tutorial is available for a refresher.

- New Profile Colours Customiser in Edit Profile
Personal accounts can now customise their profile colours and upload a new cover image directly in the app, a feature previously available only on the website.

Tapt Mobile App Version 1.10 Release Notes
We're excited to introduce version 1.10 of Tapt, packed with new features, improvements, and fixes to enhance your networking experience. Here's what's new:

New Features:
Onboarding v2: Our onboarding screens have been completely rebuilt. We've resolved numerous concerns, making the process clearer and more tailored for different types of users.

Simplified Login Process:

Users with a card can log in by scanning their card and verifying with an OTP.
Users without a card can log in using their work email. If profiles associated with that email exist, an OTP will be sent for validation.
Account & Profile Creation: Users can now opt to create a new account and profile if desired.

QR Code Login: Recognising the inconsistencies of NFC we've added the option for users to scan a QR code for logging in (OTP still required).

Enhanced UI for Profile Selection: Logging in without a card is now more intuitive. Profile pictures have been integrated to facilitate easier profile selection.

Improved Card Activation:

The card activation process is more straightforward.
Attempting to access an unactivated card will now prompt the user for activation.
If logged in, scanning an unactivated card provides an option to link the card to the profile.
In-app Banners: Upon viewing their profile for the first time, users will be prompted to edit their profile through a new in-app banner.

Add New Contact Feature: An accessible '+'' icon on the contacts page allows users to add a new contact, similar to the "Share your details" button on the profile page.

Updates & Fixes:
App Internals: We've restructured the app's internals to facilitate rapid feature deployment in upcoming versions.

Performance and Bugs: As always, we've addressed known bugs and optimised performance for a smoother user experience.

The Tapt mobile app version 1.9 boasts an array of incredible new features designed to further empower your networking experience.

1. Group therapy for your contacts: We realised that your contacts were feeling a little lonely on their own. So we've given them the ability to form groups. Now they can gather, discuss, and enjoy their shared interests like "Work", "Family", or even "People I met at a networking event and forgot their names but can't delete". You can now create contact groups for better organisation. Or maybe just for their company. Who knows?

2. Profile pronoun proficiency: We've been studying grammar textbooks and are now proud to support editing and displaying pronouns in your profile. So go ahead, put the "pro" in your "nouns". We won't stop you. In fact, we encourage it!

3. Image editor of your dreams: Have you ever thought, "I wish I could crop and rotate my profile pictures inside the app"? Well, dream no longer! With our new image editor, you can slice, dice, and turn your profile pics until your heart's content. Or at least until your image is sideways and only features one eyebrow. Your call.

4. Confetti surprise and sneaky pan gestures: We've added some confetti and pan gestures to the nav bar. Think of it as our little digital "Where's Waldo", except it's confetti and pan gestures, and there's no striped hat...But you get the idea. Happy hunting!

5. Bug busters: Just like the '80s movie, we've suited up and exterminated some unwanted pests, i.e., bugs. Not only did we squash them, but we also served them eviction notices, closed their bank accounts, and ran over their lunches with a steamroller. They won't be coming back anytime soon. And if they do, they'll be broke and hungry.

Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the digital business card life. We're here making sure it only gets better.
